Her mother Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of mobile company Verizon. Her father was a businessman Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. Director of an internet network company. Her childhood was in the private Upper East Side of Manhattan as part of the midst of a Catholic family. Her parents enrolled their daughter in the Convent of the Sacred Heart as a private and religious institution. The music was her love from the age of a child. She started playing the piano when she was just a little girl. At thirteen she penned her first song. She performed at open mic nights. Her favorite singers are Queen Michael Jackson Madonna, and David Bowie. After completing high school, she attended the Tisch School of Art of New York University to study music. Her education didn't last long but she decided to leave in pursuit of the career path in music.
