Jillian Nellie Hennely was born 25 November 1968. She is a renowned Canadian singer and actress who has contributed a major contribution to American television. The show has been highly praised for her outstanding performances in the American TV show Law & Order in which she was Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons and Crossing Jordan, wherein she played Jordan Cavanaugh the main character for six seasons. Hennessy has also showcased her acting prowess in films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and the indie films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class in which she flexed her writing and co-directing muscles. Hennessy began her acting career along with her sister in the role of twin call-girls on Dead Ringers in 1988. The actress starred as a character on Broadway in the musical Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story in 1990, and then entered the sci-fi world in 1993, playing the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. Following that the biggest breakthrough came when she joined the NBC's sensational show Law & Order to play District Attorney Assistant Claire Kincaid. This role captivated the audience for three seasons until she resigned in 1996. Parker has been featured in movies and television shows like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on the Side The West Wing Angels in America where she won a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for the Best Supporting Actress. Parker also won an award called the Tony Award for Best Actress 2001 in Broadway's play Proof.
